This week in GTM: the neighborhood restaurant hired an AI CMO, Adobe put Photoshop inside Slack, and Scottie Scheffler closed a three-shot Sunday deficit like quarter-end had a $10 million accelerator.
Apparently the new sales stack is just one chat box wearing seventeen integrations.
🏌️ THE DRIVE: Your Restaurant Just Hired an AI CMO
Owner raised $240 million at a $2.3 billion valuation after crossing $100 million ARR, starting with independent restaurants. Its pitch is not “here’s another dashboard.” It is “tell us to promote the burger,” then the agents build the campaign, update the site, make the creative, publish it, answer the phone, and take the order.
This Week’s Hole-in-One Award goes to software that finally volunteered to carry the bag. Owner says its customers average more than 40% direct online revenue growth in year one, which is a much stronger demo than a chatbot politely explaining where the settings menu lives.
“Owner is building AI…to do the jobs many small business owners have never been able to afford.” — Adam Guild, Owner
⛳ THE FAIRWAY: Scottie Closed Like the Comp Plan Worked
Scottie Scheffler entered Sunday at East Lake three back, shot 66, and won the TOUR Championship and his second FedExCup. The $10 million check pushed him to $130.4 million in official career earnings, ending a 26-year run atop the money list by the previous record holder.
The lesson is not “be Scottie.” The lesson is that a three-shot deficit is still pipeline if you have twelve holes left and no interest in updating Salesforce early.
🏴 THE GREEN: Photoshop Moved Into the Group Chat
Adobe launched more than 70 creative tools inside Slackbot, spanning Photoshop, Firefly, Acrobat, Premiere, Illustrator, and the rest of the expensive alphabet soup. Slack can now read the project brief, find the right assets, resize the campaign, remove the background, and make the PDF without anyone opening another tab.
Triple Bogey of the Week goes to “circle back after I export this.” The browser-tab economy is entering its liquidation sale.
🎙️ FROM THE CLUBHOUSE: Salesforce Gave Claude 37 Clubs
Salesforce and Anthropic launched Claudeforce, including a Salesforce-in-Claude plugin with 37 prebuilt sales skills for meeting prep, deal health, pipeline review, and governed CRM actions. It is in select pilots now, with an open beta expected in September.
The interesting part is not the number 37. It is that the AI can read the yardage, recommend the club, and write the score back to the card. If your “agent” still ends every task with instructions for you to finish it, that is not a caddie. That is a gallery marshal.

🚂 THE CADDIE’S CORNER: She Dunked It and Kept Walking
Daniela Darquea slam-dunked an ace at the FM Championship and had no idea it went in. Finally, a golf video for every seller who closed a deal while still composing the follow-up email.
🍺 19TH HOLE INSIGHT
Your stack did not get smaller. It moved into the chat box.
The winners will not have the most AI tools. They will have the fewest moments where a human has to say, “Fine, I’ll do it myself.”
